AMi Design is a full service interior design studio servicing clients throughout Long Island and New York City.  Founded in 1988, Ami Design has over 30 years of experience designing residential and commercial interiors for both private clients and high end developers. AMi’s mission is to create functional, beautiful, and timeless designs that align with each client’s aesthetic and functional needs. Our  experience includes working on a variety of projects from new residential construction to renovations, commercial offices, and more.  Our ability to design  creative and innovative interiors is what sets us apart.  Our portfolio features  styles ranging from old world traditional to ultra-sleek contemporary designs.

OUR NETWORK

Carmela Posillico, president of AMi Design, founded the company in 1988.  Prior to starting her own business, Carmela gained expertise from working with architects and high end custom cabinetry shops.  The AMi team consists of talented designers and project coordinators who ensure that all aspects of the design process are undertaken with meticulous attention to detail as well as efficiency.  Along with AMi staff, we have a comprehensive team of vendors and trade professionals that we work with regularly.  Our list of contacts includes architects, high end custom cabinetry makers, contractors, vendors for all interior furnishings, etc. Over the years we have developed relationships with these trades to ensure that we get timely responses and the most competitive pricing for our clients.

OUR CUSTOM APPROACH

AMi offers a friendly and down to earth personalized design service.  We work directly with our clients to produce creative and intelligently designed interiors tailored specifically to each client’s needs and aesthetic. The goal of each project is to create beautiful, timeless interiors that reflect our client’s visions.  When making furniture or finish selections, Carmela is known to insist that her clients “LOVE” each item we select.  “Ya gotta love it” she says.  This process guarantees that the end result of a project is truly unique to each client.  We take pride in having open and honest dealings with all of our clients.  This approach has fostered long lasting relationships with many clients returning to use us again and again over the years.
