In so doing, Carmela explores new and exciting materials, furnishings and designs to create fresh and relevant spaces to enhance her clients’ lives!

AMI Design is a full-service interior design studio serving clients across Long Island and New York City. Established in 1988, we bring over 30 years of experience creating exceptional residential and commercial interiors for both private clients and high-end developers. Our mission is to craft functional, timeless, and beautiful interiors tailored to each client’s unique style and practical needs. From new residential custom construction and large-scale renovations to commercial office design, we specialize in creating innovative spaces that are both stylish and highly livable.

OUR NETWORK

Carmela Posillico, president of AMI Design, founded the firm in 1988 after gaining extensive experience working with architects and high-end custom cabinetry shops. Today, the AMI Design team includes talented designers and project coordinators who manage every aspect of the design process with precision, creativity, and efficiency.

In addition to our in-house team, we maintain a comprehensive network of trusted vendors and trade professionals. This includes architects, custom cabinetry makers, contractors, and suppliers for all interior furnishings. Over decades of work, we have cultivated strong relationships with these partners, ensuring timely communication, reliable service, and competitive pricing for every project. Our network allows us to deliver seamless, high-quality results that exceed client expectations while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail.
